Haddon Glen Swim & Dive Team Meet Structure
Swimming
"A" meets are held on Saturday mornings beginning at 9:00 A.M. with warm-ups beforehand. "B" meets are held on Wednesday evenings beginning at 6:00 P.M. with warm-ups beforehand. The coach will notify swimmers when to meet at Haddon Glen or the opposing club. Every effort will be made to give each swimmer a chance to compete in as many meets as possible, but remember spots on relays and in events are based on swimmer's times. Although meets can be hectic, they can also be enjoyable with increased organization and control over the swimmers. The following regulations have been set up concerning swim meets:

1. The coach will post the "A" meet sheet, Friday evening at the pasta party. Parents will select what event(s, limit 2) you want your swimmer to swim in "B" meets. It is of the greatest importance to notify the coach if there is a reson a swimmer cannot attend a meet. The meet sheets are prepared before the meet begins, and it is very important for the coach to be aware of swimmers who cannot attend the meet. Please sign that you will not be there if you cannot attend, however, please consider leaving for vacation after the meet is finished.  You can be on the road by noon.
2. Swimmers are to remain in the designated team area during the entire swim meet even if he/she has completed his/her events. Permission from the team parent in charge is necessary for any swimmer to leave the team area. When a swimmer leaves the team area, there is a possibility he/she might miss his/her event.
3. Swimmers are to report to the coach after each of their events for immediate feedback.
4. A team meeting will be held immediately following the butterfly events prior to the final relays.
5. Each swimmer is responsible to clean up the team area. All trash, towels, etc. must be picked up.

Diving

• Diving "qualifying meets" are held on different days of the week. Please consult the calendar for the dates. Warm-up times will be announced. The diving coach will keep you abreast of changes. AAU registration is required by South Jersey Diving.

Other Meets

• Optional meets, including mini-meets and midi-meets, will be posted on the team bulletin board and announced by the coach. These meets usually have an entrance fee per swimmer per events. Swimmers will be expected to contact the coach about entering these meets and pay their own entrance fee.
