*At the pool manager's discretion, the pool may remain open until 10pm from August 1st - Labor Day.
2. The full pool is reserved for swim team use daily until noon
during the swim season.
3. Designated Saturdays from 9 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. and Wednesday
evenings from 5:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. are reserved for swim
meets. (Consult Bulletin Board.)
4. The pool may be closed at specified times because of special events.
(Consult Bulletin Board.)
5. The Pool Manager and/or the Board of Trustees may close the pool at
any time they deem necessary for emergencies, inclement weather,
or other reasons justifying closing the pool. (Consult Bulletin
Board.) NOTE: The pool will be open for one week after Labor Day. Actual hours
will be determined by the Board of Trustees.
C. Pool Admission
1. Check in/Check Out: All members and guests must stop and sign in at
the checker stand upon entrance to or exit from pool facilities. A file box of membership
cards is maintained at the checker's counter. No person will be admitted to the pool as a
member unless a membership card for that person is on file. No guests are permitted
without member. Baby-sitters must register children for whom they are baby-sitting. A
baby-sitter can only sit for one (1) family at a time.
2. Children
(a) Children under age 10 must be accompanied by a responsible
adult or designated baby-sitter.
(b) Children aged 10 through 12 may enter the club ground
without an adult ONLY after they have passed the
advanced swim test. Bands must be worn at all times.
(c) After 6 P.M., children 12 years old and under must be
accompanied by a parent or a member of the club 16
years or older.
(d) Baby-sitters must have a registration form on file with the
pool manager.
(e) All baby-sitters and/or domestic help aged 13 or older,
regularly employed for such purposes may come into the
club facilities for a fee per Guest Policy. Such persons must be registered on the bondholder's membership
card. (f) At the discretion of the manager on duty, a babysitter that
is determined not to be watching his/her child in
question will be asked to leave the pool grounds.
3. Swimming Band Tests
(a) Standard - Swim 2 lengths of pool crawl stroke and tread
water for 60 seconds. Entitles child to full use of pool.
(b) Advanced – Swim 3 laps of crawl stroke, tread water for 2
minutes, PLUS one dive off the diving board in the
diving well. Entitles child to use L-pool and diving well..3. NOTE: Manager may request retest at any time.
4. Swim Bands
(a) Swim bands must be worn at all times. Children who cannot
pass the swim requirements must use the splash area of
the main pool or the baby pool.
(b) There will be a charge of two dollars ($2.00) for each
replacement swim band. This fee is only for replacement
of a swim band. II. GUEST POLICY
A. All guests and visitors must be registered and accompanied by the
sponsoring member at all times.
B. GUEST FEES:
(a)(1) Regular Guests
Weekdays $5.00 per person
Weekends and holidays $10.00 per person
Reduced Rates after 5:00 P.M.:
Weekdays only $3.00 per person
Weekly Rates * $30.00 per person
Family Rates - Maximum rate not to exceed 2 adults and
2 children
At all times, children age 2 and under are free.
* Available only to guests residing outside the areas noted
in Section II, 2(b). (2) Reduced Fees Effective for August
Weekdays $3.00 per person
Weekends and holidays $5.00 per person
Reduced Rates after 5:00 P.M.:
Weekdays only $2.00 per person
(b) Houseguests
A houseguest of a bondholder who lives with the bondholder
full-time. The houseguest's principal residence must be outside a
ten-mile radius of Haddon Glen Swim Club. Fee is $175.00 per person per season.
(c) Senior Citizens, Grandparents and Baby-Sitters
(1) Bondholders 60 years or older may have one designated guest,
60 years or older, unlimited number of times at a nominal charge
of $1.00 per visit.
(2) Parents or Grandparents of bondholders will be charged $1.00
each visit, unlimited number of times. They must sign in at the
main office upon each visit and will be required to identify the
bondholder.
(3) Baby-sitters of members will be charged for each visit $3.00.4.
and must sign in at the main office each time. They will be
required to write the names of the children of stated bondholder
that they will be responsible for on that visit. Bondholders are
required to designate the name of a baby-sitter in writing prior
to entry of any baby-sitter. On weekends and holidays, baby-sitters
will be charged the regular guest fee rates.
C. Guest privileges for each member-family will be limited to five (5) individuals
or one (1) family group per calendar week.
D. Each guest will be limited to seven (7) guest privileges per season if they live
in a ten-mile radius of the Club.
E. Haddon Glen will allow parties with specific rules. They are to be coordinated
with the Club Manager. One (1) week's notice in advance is required. A maximum of twenty guests will be permitted at the party. All participants must be registered with the manager at the time of reservations. Special notice must be made at that time of non-members. All reservations are WEEKDAY ONLY.
There will be NO WEEKEND reservations until after Tri-County Championship
weekend. At all times, guest fees will apply. Use of snack bar equipment is not
allowed.
F. At the discretion of the Board of Trustees guest passes may be issued. Only
properly authorized guest passes signed by the President of the Swim Club and
for the designated year will be accepted. Misrepresentation of guest passes are
subject to Section XI. Violations and Sanctions. III. SAFETY
A. No glass objects of any kind are permitted.
B. Lifeguards are present for your safety; do not talk to them while they are on
duty. Always obey their instructions.
C. Congregating by the checker's stand, lifeguard stand, or Manager's office is
prohibited
D. No running, pushing, dunking, or rough play in the pool or pool area.
E. Proper swimming attire must be worn in the pool.
F. Rafts, balls, inflatable objects, toys, masks, fins, snorkels, and swim aids are
not permitted in the pool, except as permitted by the Manger.
G. There is NO DIVING from the side of the L-pool.
H. No hanging or standing on the lane lines or pool divider line.
I. Use of Diving Well and Boards: Only persons capable of swimming and
diving are permitted to use the diving well and the diving boards. (Advanced
Test)
(a) Only one person on the diving board at a time.
(b) Do not dive until the person in front is at the ladder.
(c) After diving, go immediately to the nearest ladder and exit the
pool.
(d) Only one bounce is permitted on the diving board.
(e) Each diver must go straight off the diving board..5.
(f) Positively no running on the diving board.
(g) Children 15 years of age and under MUST have an advanced swim
band to use the diving board.
J. Outdoor bathing is prohibited during an electrical storm.
K. Persons suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol are
prohibited from the pool grounds. IV. WADING POOL
A. The use of the baby pool shall be limited to children under six years of age.
B. CHILDREN STILL IN NEED OF DIAPERS MUST WEAR TIGHT
FITTING RUBBER PANTS. Do not wash out soiled diapers in the pool.
C. CHILDREN IN NEED OF DIAPERS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO USE
THE MAIN POOL. V. CLEANLINESS AND HEALTH
A. Persons with skin infections, abrasions, or respiratory infections may be
refused admission to the pool.
B. Showers are mandatory before using the pool.
C. All accidents resulting in injury or property damage must be reported to the
pool management.
D. Smoking is prohibited in the locker rooms and on the pool deck and will be
strongly enforced.
E. No pets are permitted on the club grounds.
F. All trash must be placed in the containers provided. Cigarette and cigar butts
must be placed in the containers provided.
G. Anyone may be required to leave the pool if they show signs of fatigue.
H. You may not enter the water if you are experiencing or recovering from
diarrhea or have had any signs or symptoms of a stomach disease in the past
seven days.
I. All children should be encouraged to use the restroom before entering the
water. Immediately report any "accidents" you observe in the water to the
lifeguard or manager on duty. VI. CARE AND USE OF CLUB PROPERTY
A. The cost of any property damage will be charged to the member.
B. The club will not be responsible for loss or damage to personal property.
C. All personal property left at the club after closing day becomes the property of
the swim club. VII. PARKING LOT RULES
A. Bicycles and skateboards will be allowed only in designated areas. All
bicycles must be locked and cannot be left at the club overnight. Bicycles.6.
must be walked to the designated area within the club.
B. All cars must proceed slowly and carefully on driveway, streets, and in the
parking areas.
C. No parking is permitted at the pool entrance or at other designated areas. VIII. FOOD AND REFRESHMENTS
A. Food must be consumed at the snack bar, the picnic grove or pavilion.
B. No eating or drinking on the pool deck.
C. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE PERMITTED DURING
NORMAL CLUB HOURS. IX. LOUNGE CHAIRS
A. Lounge chairs placed at or adjacent to the pool aprons must be withdrawn
from those areas at the close of each day.
B. Entitlement to place a chair on or at the pool aprons arises on a first-come,
first-served daily basis.
X. GENERAL
A. The Pool Manager is granted authority to temporarily suspend club
privileges as stated below in section XI.
B. Admission will be refused to anyone under suspension.
C. ADULT SWIMMING may be called at the Manager's discretion. Pool use
during this time is reserved for those 18 years and older.
D. The Board may suspend any rule during special occasions.
E. A lost and found area will be maintained. Unclaimed towels and/or clothes
will become the property of the club after seven (7) days.
F. During the holding of any special or scheduled event approved by the Board of
Trustees, the pool will be closed to non-participants as necessary. XI. VIOLATIONS AND SANCTIONS
A. Management reserves the right to levy sanctions against any bondholder
and/or member of the bondholder's family found to have violated any club
rules or regulations. The severity of the sanctions is to be imposed
progressively as follows: FIRST OFFENSE - verbal warning
SECOND OFFENSE - written warning
THIRD OFFENSE - suspension of pool privileges for a period of no more than four (4) days
FOURTH OFFENSE - suspension of pool privileges for a period of.7. not less than seven (7) days nor more than fourteen (14) days with the approval of the Board
ADDITIONAL VIOLATIONS - suspension of pool privileges for
balance of season and/or revocation of pool membership
B. FOR A THIRD OFFENSE OF MISREPRESENTING GUESTS OR
ALLOWING PERSONS TO MISREPRESENT THEMSELVES TO
GAIN ADMISSION TO THE POOL, MEMBERS ARE SUBJECT
TO SUSPENSION OF PRIVILEGES FOR THE BALANCE OF THE
SEASON WITHOUT REFUND!!
